Terms & Conditions (Participation)

1. Definitions
“Program” means The HPT Game (3‑day leadership experience). “We/Us” means the organiser. “You/Participant” means an accepted individual.
2. Eligibility & Invite‑only selection
Participation is by private invitation and selection. You must be 18+ and able to meet the readiness criteria (English conversational level; ~4–6h sleep/night; health‑ready for moderate movement and cognitive pressure). Selection is strict and not guaranteed; we may decline requests. If we decline, we may provide a brief reason focused on values/fit.
3. Application & selection call
If you request an invitation and appear to be a fit, we may offer a 15‑minute private call (fit, expectations, readiness). We may request further information before a decision.
4. Payment & invoices
Upon acceptance, we issue an invoice. Payment is due within 7 days to secure one of 4–6 spots. Company invoices are available. VAT applies per Latvian/EU rules for in‑person programs. Failure to pay on time may result in loss of the spot.
5. Transfers & cancellations [edit to your policy]
Participant cancellation: fees are non-refundable. If you cancel for any reason, you receive a one-time credit equal to the paid program fee, usable toward any HPT Game cohort within 12 months from your original cohort’s start date, subject to selection and availability. If no HPT Game cohort is offered within that 12-month period, we will issue a full refund of the program fee.
Organiser cancellation or material date change: you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another cohort.
Name changes: may be considered at our discretion and are subject to the same selection criteria.
6. Program logistics
Flights are not included. You must report to a fixed rendezvous point in Riga at the specified time; arriving on time is part of the experience. The 3 days start and end at that point. From the rendezvous, we provide ground transport between private locations, accommodation and meals.
7. Conduct, privacy & NDA
You agree to uphold high ethical standards and to respect privacy: no spectators, no personal recording, no public disclosure of tasks, locations or participant identities. You may be required to sign a separate NDA and safety acknowledgement.
8. Phones & communications
Phone use is limited during the experience. You agree to follow communication protocols during control windows.
9. Safety & health
Pressure is real; risk is controlled. No extreme sports and no public humiliation. You confirm you are health‑ready; you are responsible for any required insurance (travel/health). You must follow instructions from staff for your safety and that of others.
10. Confidentiality & IP
All program materials, designs and methods (including the High‑Performance Team operating algorithm) are our confidential and proprietary information. You shall not copy, disclose or use them outside the program without written permission.
11. The coin
The coin is never sold or promised. A winning team is a prerequisite; the coin is awarded individually by peer vote only if the team clears the HPT baseline. It may be withheld.
12. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to extreme weather, utility outages, strikes, government actions, war, etc.).
13. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct or injury caused by intentional acts.
14. Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. Courts of Riga shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms; changes will be posted on the website with a new “Last updated” date.
